Zion part 2

Well Zion’s wires are off. The first 30 minutes or so he spent just enjoying being able to open his mouth and use his tongue again. His first bite of solid was a peanut butter m&m that he’s been hanging on to waiting for today. He said it felt weird. But he figured it out pretty quick. He’s supposed to be on a soft food diet for two-three weeks until his jaw gets used to chewing again. But I don’t think he’ll need that long. I made homemade pizza for supper. He ate and ate and ate and then a couple hours later he ate again. He said he’s making up for missing thanksgiving. I think he just making up for not eating for 6 weeks. I don’t know how his stomach can stand that much food so soon. But he seems to be doing great. I’m glad it’s over and life can return to normal. Thanking the Lord the past 6 weeks went so well and that Zion did so well.
