Welcome to my kitchen. Pull up a chair and stay awhile. I’ve been doing some upgrades on my kitchen lately as well as redoing my recipes. I’ve come across some great ideas, and supper has been wonderful the last few weeks. This being said, I have decided to start a blog all about food. Trevor will be sharing this blog with me, being the wonderful cook that he is, and between the two of us, I hope we can help transform your everyday boring meals into “Can I have some more please mommy?” After all….isn’t that what all of us Mom’s love to hear?
I started cooking with Iron Skillets, back in December, and fell in love with them. I seldom use anything else. So the majority of what I cook will be in an iron skillet. You do not have to have one, to make your meals say “wow”, but I recommend it, very highly.
I also use stainless steel pots, which I really needed a place to store. I was tired of my small storage space being so cramped, and making it hard to find anything when I needed it, so I browsed around online until I found a great way to display my pots. A normal “pot rack” just doesn’t work for my small kitchen, so I turned my window, into a “pot rack”. This is working very nicely and was very easy to make. I just added a few nails to the overhang that was already there, and there you have it.
