Vacation – The next day.

Today we had a great time in town. Now that the traffic has cleared out from the weekend, you can actually get around.
We started out with some “Prof Hacker’s Lost Treasure” Mini-golf. This was Zion’s favorite part of the day. Next we went to the Dinosaur Museum which I knew was going to be absolutely not worth the money to get in. It wasn’t but how do you tell this to kids that really really want to see the dinosaurs? Turns out this was Azariah’s favorite part of the day, however, he liked coloring dinosaur pictures the best. He could have done that at home!

After this, we were hungry, so we went to the Alamo Steakhouse for lunch. We had a nice coupon, and this was our favorite dinner when we were here 7 years ago on our honeymoon. It wasn’t as good today, but still a very good meal.

Next we headed up to Gatlinburg to walk around. I wanted to take the boys up the “Ober Gatlinburg” tram, but AnnaMay doesn’t much care for heights. It was all good tho, because the shopping bug hit AnnaMay, so she and Nana shopped, and I took the boys on the tram, and to see the bears they have.

We ended the day by grilling burgers here at the resort, and taking a short trip to Paris courtesy of the in room movie system.

    Looks like fun. 🙂 Vacations are always fun… well, almost always fun. 🙂 Your kids are growing up soo much! Glorianna is so big! They are all precious!
