Vacation part 3 – Tombstone

On Friday, we all we to see the historic town of Tombstone. That was a lot of fun and the kids learned a lot about what happened in the old days.
I loved the cute little shops that were all over the place. This is probably the cutest little western town I’ve seen in a good long while.
We also visited “Boot Hill” while in Tombstone. I took tons of pictures, but I’ll only post some of the better ones.
This is the sign hanging on the door when you first enter the giftshop.

Glorianna poses with John Wayne.

Two Cowboys and a Cowgirl.

Boot Hill is the graveyard of a lot of famous and not so famous people from the town of Tombstone. There were a lot of funny tombstones. Here are a few of them.

Family Picture outside of Boot Hill.

Visiting the O. K. Corral. They had some reinactments of the shoot out here, but we missed it. That was kind of disappointing, but we still had a blast exploring the rest of the town.

Glorianna shakes hands with a local cowboy.

“cheese”

“ewwww….stinky”

We decided to lock the boys up for a while.
Zion being “dead”.

We also let the kids play Minigolf in Tombstone.

Zion gets a Hole In One!!

I thought this was a cute “Coke” advertisment.

Zion is playing the banjo.

I love this sign.

Just some beautiful scenery.
