After leaving “Lego Land”, we headed over to the “Field Museum”. This was another “FREE” museum, thanks to our Louisville Science Center membership. This museum is pretty good sized, but there isn’t near as much in this one, to interest the kids….or me for that matter. It was really cool to see the giant whale skeleton hanging from the celing, the “Lions of Savo”, the “Sue” Dino bones found in South Dakota, and the Eqyptian tomb area. We tried to fit some school based info into the kids here and there, but other then that, the rest of the musuem was kind of boring. I’m glad this one was a freebie.
After leaving this museum, we were all very tired and worn out. So we headed back to the hotel where we ordered a pizza and watched “Nanny McPhee Returns”. It was a nice end to another nice day.
