Updates….

ok…This is going to be a really long post. So just bear with me. Our blog has been having issues so I haven’t been able to update since August. Which is why it also looks different. You’ve been warned.

A friend of mine turned 40 this year and several mom’s got together to host a surprise party for her. She was mostly surprised. She suspected, but didn’t really know what exactly was going on. Sarah’s birthday party was fun tho and we all had a great time.

Since there was no Still Waters Camp this year, Bro. Joseph decided to do a Home Camp instead. He sent the kids boxes with things they would need for crafts and such for the chosen weekend. Glorianna had a fun time doing the crafts and Riah loved the archery part of it. We had some fun times around the bon fire as well.

Our deck is still not totally finished. We finally got it stained, but the spindles haven’t been added yet. It was too hot, then we just kept putting it off. So as far as being finished…it’s mostly done. We have also put the rest of the patio on hold. But for now it looks good and functions well, so it will probably stay as it is until next Spring/Summer. You can see some of how it looks in the home camp pictures of us around the bon fire. That area is just dirt and rock right now but it serves it purpose.

Soccer still happened this fall. We weren’t sure how that was going to go because of Covid, but because we are a Homeschool team and played other Homeschool teams, we were still able to have some games. This was nice because it’s Azariah’s last year. He’s a senior and once he graduates in the Spring, he won’t be able to play on the Jaguars Team anymore. We had a nice end of the year ceremony and Azariah scored during the Senior Night Game. This made him super happy. And made his parents proud. =)

Glorianna got to go hunting during a youth hunt in October, this year, and she got a buck. She was super happy.

In November, Glorianna hosted a “Friends-giving”/ Fall party. It was a nice day so we were able to have it all outside. There was lots of yummy food and lots of fun games. There was pumpkin rolling, pumpkin painting, candy corn races, trivia and s’mores. Some of the moms just hung out and chatted, and we all had a grand old time. (You can see the bon fire area better in these pictures. We have a nice fire pit area and the grass on the other side is finally growing in and our yard looks so much better now)

So there you have it. Life is still moving along as normaly as we can have it, and we are still keeping busy. Trevor is still working from home but we all love it.
