The Northern Lights

On November 11, we got to see the Northern Lights. It’s very rare that we can see them this far south, but God is amazing and decided to show us His beautiful handywork. It did not disappoint. At first we could not see it with just the naked eye, so we took lots of pictures. But then a couple of hours later we were actually able to see it without the camera! I have no words to describe the beauty of it all.

Trevor and I drove about an hour into a more remote area, so we could enjoy it with no city lights. It was totally worth the drive.

This is what it looked like at our house….the colors we not near as vibrant because of all of the street/city lights.

So we are very glad we drove the extra miles to see it. I don’t know when I’ll have this opportunity again, so I am very thankful to have seen it.
