Rounding up the last bit of summer…
We got some peaches from the Peach Truck in July. This was the first time we had ever done this and it was amazing. We will be doing this again.
August came and went, and with it our 21st Anniversary. We didn’t do anything fancy this time since we had just taken a big trip in the Spring to celebrate our belated 20th. We went canoeing, went out to eat and went to a nice park in Louisville that has “forest giants”. It was pretty cool to see those. Some friends of ours were actually planning on being there the same day we went, so we enjoyed a nice hike around the park together. (and for those of you wondering….Trevor has kept his beard. haha.)
And then summer was over and it was time to start school. I only have one kid in school this year. Wow. What a change. Glorianna started 10th grade this year, which means I have 3 years left before I’m officially done with homeschooling. That seems so hard to believe.
Riah has decided to take a year off and try his hand at starting his own business, and prepping for college in case he decided to go next fall. He bought a heat press and has started making his own tshirt designs. He has created several designs so far but this is the only one available at the moment. More will be coming soon.
