Thanksgiving was once again spent at my parents house. It seems to be the mutual meeting place for the holidays.ÂÂ
Turkey, Ham, Mashed potatos, gravy, corn, peas, carrots, sweet potato cassarole, rolls with butter, stuffing, spinach dip and chips, pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie topped with homemade cool whip, chocolate pie, lemon marainge pie, rice krispy treats, fudge, banana pudding, carmel cheesecake, and I’m sure there was a lot more food. We had more then enough to feed the 17 people that were gathered at my parents house. In fact, there was so much food, we got to have leftovers for 2 days afterwards. Yummy!!!ÂÂ
The guys were going to go hunting, as they normally do on Thanksgiving day, but it was very cold and rainy, so they chose to stay home instead. It turned out fine. After eating and visiting with family, we gathered around the kitchen table and played “Apples to Apples” followed by “Crainum Turbo”. Both games were a lot of fun.ÂÂ
A friend of mine made a “Fruit Turkey” a couple of weeks ago, So I thought i’d steal her idea and try it myself. Mine didn’t turn out as good as hers, but the kids loved it. It didn’t take long for the grapes and cheese to disappear. They were the first things to go.ÂÂ
My brother, David and his wife, Molly. She’s the newest addition to the family.  She’s a sweetheart.ÂÂ
I have a lot more pictures , but most of them aren’t worth posting.  So here are just a few more, for laughs.ÂÂ
Cousins Ava and Glorianna. They are best friends.ÂÂ
Me. I wasn’t really watching my mom do dishes. Honest. It just looks like it. I helped. I really did.ÂÂ
Mom doing dishes.ÂÂ
My sis-in-law, Sunny. She’s getting ready to go thru the sale ads to see what kind of crazy deals she can get this weekend altho neither of us were crazy, brave enough,   went shopping on Black Friday.ÂÂ
Trevor and I went on Saturday morning, and Meijer was almost empty and we finished our Christmas shopping.  Sunny and Mom went sometime on Saturday, as well and found what they wanted without having to fight the crowds of crazy people. All of the “crazies” must have still been at home, sleeping off their black friday all nighters.ÂÂ
So that about wraps it up for my holiday weekend. All in all, it was a nice relaxing time.
