Once again I am behind in my blogging. It’s been a very busy year and a lot has happened since I last blogged. So let’s backtrack to September.
Glorianna had bump removed from her head. It looked like a big blood blister and it just showed up one day and wouldn’t go away. If she bumped it, it would bleed and it was becoming really annoying. So after a few weeks we finally went and had it looked at. She ended up having to have it removed. Quick and easy. No issues at all.
Glorianna and I being all matchy. She’s so tall and my already short self looks even shorter next to her. haha
I went fishing with my dad. That was really nice. I hadn’t done that in a while, so it was nice to have some time off to do that.
Glorianna hard at work at Sweet Stuff Bakery.
We had Senior Night at soccer and the end of the year ceremony where we also said good bye to the seniors, as well as Trevor. He has been on the board for the last 5 years and since Glorianna is our last senior, we will no longer be a part of the River City Jaguars. It’s been an amazing journey and we made a lot of memories, but that chapter is now over for us.
The team praying for Glorianna.
Go Jags!! At the end of the game we made a tunnel for the kids to run through. They loved it.
The team also decorated Glorianna’s car. She had no idea so she was quite surprised.

The whole team, with some of the old players as well. “Once a Jag, always a Jag”
When you all match, unplanned, you have to take a picture.
Moving on to the month of October:
Trevor and I had a date day to Hubers. That was a lot of fun. The kids had went to South Carolina Youth Camp one weekend, so Trevor and I had a nice little “Staycation”.
Made some amazing apple crisp with the apples we picked.
Trevor and I wearing our matching African outfits.
Rebekah and I took Jamie out to celebrate her birthday. Good times!
In some rather unpleasant news, my wedding ring broke. So sad. We were going to wait until our 25th anniversary to upgrade our rings, but now we have a problem. I don’t want to go for another 2 years without a ring, but we hadn’t planned on new ones quite yet, so in the meantime, I’m wearing a cheap silicone ring from Amazon until we decide what to do.
We went and saw the play of Pride and Prejudice that Highlands Latin School put on. It was so much fun. They did a great job, as always.
And there you have it. Moving on to November in the next post.
