School update and Silly Holiday Celebrations

We are almost done!! Less than a month to go. We omitted Spring Break this year because Trevor was out of town and we had nothing else to do, so that really helped get us a bit ahead. It’s been a challenging year, but we’ve gotten through it. I’ll probably change things up a bit next year, but that’s normal for me. We weren’t able to go to any of the close by homeschool conventions because of Trevor’s preaching schedule, so we are going to go to the one in Atlanta at the end of April. Hopefully that will help me make a few decisions on some of the subjects I’m just not happy with right now.

In other news….there are some pretty silly little (non official) holidays that we decided to celebrate this year. Here’s what we have done so far.

Popcorn Lovers Day!! I made “moose tracks” popcorn as well as plain popcorn so the kids could experiment with toppings. I think the favorite ended up being “smores”.
Because today is "National Popcorn Lovers Day" I made some moose munch to celebrate. - AnnaMay

(One we made up) Happy Phibby Day! – It’s been a year since we bought our cat. He survived his first winter as an out door cat. I think he’ll do just fine.

We’ve also celebrated “peanut butter lovers day” and “pbj day” but I forgot to take pictures of those. This has been a lot of fun and we can’t wait to do more crazy celebrations.
