Pennsylvania Trip

Last week we took a mini vacation/preaching trip to Pennsylvania as well as Baltimore, Maryland.

We arrived in PA on Wed in time to visit for a bit with our friends and hosts at “The Eagles Nest” then we headed off to church.

In a nut shell…

Outside of fellowshipping and hanging out….Thursday we spent the afternoon in Baltimore, Maryland. Trevor had been wanting to meet Bro Timothy W. so after meeting up with him, he took us on a short tour of the bay area and because it was so cold outside, we ended up just hanging out the the biggest Barnes and Nobel bookstore I had ever seen.

Trevor preached that evening for Bro Timothy at “Rock of Revelation Church”. It was nice to get to know the saints there.

After service we headed back to PA for the remainder of our trip.

Friday afternoon we went to Sight and Sound Theatre to see “Samson”. It was good but not one of my favorites.

Saturday evening there was a big get together with pretty much the entire church, and there was lots of food and fellowshipping. It was nice to visit with everyone.

Sunday Morning we sang a special for the believers at Bro David S.’s church. Then we got to enjoy a Christmas program put on by their Sunday School classes.

After service we said good bye to everyone and headed back home.

On a side note….

I told myself I wasn’t going to collect any more snowmen, but I saw this one at one of the second hand stores in PA – AND it was one clearance – AND it was an extra 50% off – AND it was just so cute. So I couldn’t resist buying it.

Over all it was a good trip, as always. So thanks Karl and Melissa for putting up with us once again. We love you guys!!
