October – Florida Trip

At the end of October, Trevor and I went to Florida so that Trevor could preach for Bro Jack D. We had a great service Friday night. Saturday we had breakfast with Bro Jack and Sis Erika and then we had the rest of the day to ourselves, so Trevor and I got some coffee, visited a bookstore and went to the Palm Beach Zoo. We hadn’t been to this zoo since 2008, so it was nice to see the upgrades.

This was a really cool bookstore, but it was the most expensive bookstore I’ve ever been it. Some of the books were as much as $25,000!!

We ate lunch at a cute little diner that was featured on HTV’s “Diners, Drive Throughs and Dives”. It had some really good food.

The Palm Beach Zoo.

We had supper with Bro Jack, Sis Erika and Sarah that evening and then headed back to the house we were staying at, for the rest of the night. Sunday morning Trevor preached for Bro Jack and then Sunday evening he preach for Bro Jean in Boynton Beach. We had some really good services and then got up bright and early Monday morning to catch the flight home. We arrived back home around 10 am and Trevor headed to work. No extra time off for that guy!

And now I think we are caught up for now. I’m sure there will be many more posts to come before the year is over.
