I’ve been sewing off and on a lot lately. I do most of my sewing for my kids, but still manage to get plenty of custom orders in there. When I can, I get some one to model my items for me. Most of the time it’s my kids, but sometimes a customer will send me a “fan photo.”
So here’s a glimpse into my portfolio. Enjoy!!
I made this skirt for my cousin. She outgrew it and gave it back to me to pass on to someone else. Glorianna fell in love with it, so it’s now her’s. Can you tell she likes it?
Strawberry Khaki Skort. A wonderful yardsale find that I altered and added to.
A wonderful goodwill find. This adorable Osh Kosh jumper was too cute to leave behind. It was just too short. So I let Glorianna go through my scrap box and she found 2 peices of material that she really liked. They made adorable ruffles.
Sheriff Riah. I made him the vest and then I found these chaps at the goodwill. They are home made and leather. I wasn’t going to pass them up. They are a bit tight around the legs, so I need to alter them, but he loves them. So he gladly modeled for me.
I found this adorable “pant” oufit at a yardsale. It made the most adoranle “skirt” set. Glorianna wore this until it was just to short to wear anymore. Then I had to sneak it out of the house.
I made Glorianna some coulottes for Soccer. They don’t care that she wears them, so I was going to take advantage of it. She has worn these for 2 seasons now, and can probably wear them for at least 2 more.
A “Twirly” skirt I made from an old skirt that someone gave me. It was just waiting to be recycled. It’s now one of Glorianna’s favorites.
Skirt I made for my cousin, Grace. She was nice enough to model it for me.
Costumes I made for the Homeschool Christmas Program. “Simeon”, “Zaccharias”, and “Anna”.
I made Glorianna a dress, and the boys, shirts, for Thanksgiving. This was my first attempt at “Applique”. I have found that I really, really like it.
