For my birthday this year, I requested a family dinner and games. Now that Zion has moved out, and Trevor is gone a lot with the ministry, I was just happy to have all of my family together like old times. It was wonderful.
We had Caralie’s for supper. I love that place.
Glorianna made me a Peanut Butter cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. So good. She made this for me last year and I requested it again.
Trevor got me this backpack. I had been wanting one now that I’m traveling with him more. This will make a great travel bag for flying.
Glorianna got me a cookbook stand (I forgot to take a picture) – Zion took the one I had been using when he moved out (it was his anyway…he had bought it for school and used it for his books, so it was only fair that he took it) – so I needed one of my own.
We had so much fun playing games….
Another thing that Zion took when he moved out (because it was also his), was the TV. So we headed over to Zion’s, after the games were done, to watch a cartoon from the kids childhood, but that also had special “mom day” meaning.
So much fun. I’m glad Zion lives close. It makes family hang out so much nicer. =)

The day before my birthday, Trevor and I went out to eat with Nathan and Rebekah, for our yearly double birthday date. We went to “Game” in Jeffersonville. I had never eaten there before and it was amazing. They have so many different times of meat to try. I had the Elk Burger and sweet potato fries…so good.
Trevor had Wagyu Burger and we split the kangaroo and Antelope meatballs. Oh my. I’m not even sure how to describe it. It was all so good.
My parents also took me out for lunch one afternoon, so it was a great birthday week. I’m so very blessed.
