More September Randomness

Glorianna was asked to make a cake for a friend’s baby shower. This was her very first custom cake and I think she did an amazing job. She also made custom cupcakes.

So the story behind these next two pictures….

When Trevor was in Arizona at the beginning of the year, there was a family from Alaska that “just happened” to be at the same two churches that Trevor preached at while he was there. They enjoyed his ministry so much that when they got back home to Alaska they mentioned him to their pastor and he reached out to Trevor, inviting him to come to Alaska. Trevor never expected this to happen. He’s pretty busy with both his full time job and traveling for ministry that he was pretty much out of time off. But as the Lord works all things out….Trevor’s work asked him to go to Alaska a couple months later, for work. His supervisor usually goes on this trip, but he had had ear surgery and couldn’t fly, so they asked Trevor to go. This being said, Trevor was able to stay the weekend after his work stuff and preach for the church there. Isn’t is crazy how God works things out sometimes??

So fast forward to September…Trevor had to go back to Alaska for work again, so he reached out to that same pastor and was set to preach for him once again. But the funny thing is….the family that Trevor met in Arizona, the ones who God used to get him to Alaska, were in our area at the same time that Trevor was in Alaska, and came to our church for a visit. haha.

So he was there….

….and they were here….

I introduced myself to them and me and the kids took them out to eat. It was a really funny conversation to have. They are super sweet and I’m so glad we got to meet them, even if they had traded places with Trevor for the weekend. haha

Towards the end of September, Trevor and I went to Dayton, OH. He was preaching for Bro Doug S, and I decided to tag along. He’d been gone a lot lately and we needed some time together. So we took the weekend and went to Dayton on Saturday to spend the day. We visited the Air and Space Museum and got to see some pretty cool air travel machines and see how they have evolved over the years.

This was super cool. This is the pigeon that Brother Branham mentions that got shot during WW2 but still was able to get the message delivered. To see this….wow….how amazing is that.

We had a nice day together, got to see some thrift stores, a cool coffee shop, and just hang out. It was such a relaxing day and the services on Sunday were nice.

And thus ends September….
