Merry Christmas!!

This is going to be one really long post instead of breaking it up into several smaller ones… You’ve been warned. I’ll spare you the tons and tons of pictures tho, and just post a few.

Christmas number 1 was spent at my parents house earlier in the week.

My present. Yeah! I had a big stand up jewelry box but it took up a lot of room and I didn’t really need a big one. So I was very happy to get this smaller one.

I got each of the girls some animal themed crayons. I know a sister that makes them, so I ordered a bunch. They are very cute and the girls loved them.

Glorianna made signs for Ava and Ella. I thought she did a great job.

We had Christmas number 2 with David, Molly, Grandma G and Aunt Bug, on Christmas Eve. We weren’t all able to get together for Christmas number 1, and Isaac and Sunny were heading out of town for Christmas, so they couldn’t wait until Christmas Eve. But the kids didn’t care. It spread things out a lot. I didn’t get any pictures from #2. boo….I don’t know why. I guess I just didn’t think about it. The boys got a Nintendo DS from David and Molly. They were super excited about that. We totally weren’t expecting that. It was a nice surprise. So now we have 2. No more fighting over it on road trip. They gave Glorianna a nice sparkly princess crown and some bath bombs. Made her happy.

Moving on…

We had Christmas number 3 with just us on Sunday afternoon. There was no service at the tabernacle that day so we decided not to do our Christmas early. Bro Nathan was having a morning service, so we visited there in the morning and then spent the afternoon at home. It was a nice relaxing day.

This will be a nice challenge for him. HAHAHAHAHA!

Adding to his ever growing book series.

I hope this goes well. Glorianna knows a little about crocheting but has never made anything other than a square. So we will see if she can accomplish this or not. She was super excited about getting it. Maybe that will be good motivation for her.

We decided to buy the boy’s “funny” presents just because. They were a big hit.

Trevor bought me a pair of nice black boots that I was in desperate need of. But I forgot to take a picture.

Christmas Dinner! It was wonderful.

Family Picture!! I wanted a nice one that wasn’t our usual “selfie”. So after service, and while we were all dressed up, I had someone take our picture. I think it turned out really well.

Homemade stockings. This is the first time we’ve had stockings. I just don’t have a place to put them. I hung them on the window but didn’t really like them there. If we put them up again next year I might have to find a different location. But the kids enjoyed having them there. And our really small tree. We have yet to get a new one after I threw our old one away. I just can’t see spending the money on one. If I find a good deal on one during the after Christmas sales, I might get one to put away until next year. But for now this little one will have to do.

A sign I made and a cool candle I paid $1 for at a thrift store. Woohoo!!

And that about wraps it up. I hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas!
