Mephibosheth (AKA Phibby)

We got our cat back in March of 2015. He was 2 years old when we got him. Trevor named him Mephibosheth, but we mostly called him Phibby. He was an outdoor cat. He only came inside in the freezing cold nights of the winter. Otherwise he loved to be outside. He was a good cat. He didn’t really care for small children, and when he was done being loved on, he’d let you know, but he was a faithful cat and loved to sleep beside the back door so he could be outside but still be near us.

We lost him the day after Thankgiving. He spent the last two days of his life inside with us. He went peacefully and did not die alone. We laid him to rest in a corner of our back yard. After having him for the last 10 years, it’s hard to believe he’s gone. But he will not be forgotten.
