I’m a “seasonal decor” kind of person. Meaning I like to decorate for Christmas, Spring/Summer, Fall and Thanksgiving. Since we have updated the livingroom I’ve gotten rid of a lot of my old Spring/Summer decor. Most of it was yardsale finds anyway and needed to go. This being said I didn’t have anything to replace my Christmas decor once I put it away. I didn’t really want to spend a ton of money either but wanted something besides an empty piano. So after looking around at what I had on hand and with a little creativity I managed a really nice set up. The water pitcher I painted in creations last summer. The paper music flowers Zion made for me. And the old books were from our book shelf. I had bought the “E” a couple months ago and never used it. It was the one that was supposed to go on our family wall but Trevor found one he liked better. So this one ended up not being used, but worked great on the piano.
I also bought the cool looking book box for Kleenexes. Isn’t it cute? It looks much nicer sitting on the coffee table than just a plain ole box.
I’m quite happy with the way it turned out. And even happier about not spending a bunch of money. Woo!!
