Happy Birthday Trevor

Thursday, the 12th, was Trevor’s Birthday. He turned 33. To celebrate, we left the kids with a babysitter, who also braved watching the kids for the entire night, and Trevor and I went out to eat at the “Cast Iron Steakhouse”. The food was very good. We had a coupon, and Trevor was able to get his dessert free because it was his birthday, so the total cost wasn’t bad at all.

After that, we headed to Louisville to see “Shakespeare In the Park”. A FREE, yes Free!! event that the Kentucky Shakespeare Festival hosts every year. They do a Shakespeare play or two in the big park in Louisville, and only take donations. This year they did the play “Much Ado About Nothing”. They tweaked it just a bit to make it more “modern.” It was a western, even tho everyone still spoke “Shakespearean”. So it was a bit of a different twist.

We got home really late, but without the kids it made the late night much easier.

The kids made Trevor a fruit pizza for his birthday, while they were at the babysitters. He was quite surprised, and the fruit pizza was quite yummy!

Trevor has been wanting a “Official” Spain Soccer Jersey. He’s really into soccer right now. But the “real deal” is crazy expensive, so I just made my own version. I bought him a Red “Champion” Sport Shirt and a USA Soccer Patch and ta da!! I also bought him a Spain Soccer Patch so that when we get him a second sport shirt he can have 2 soccer shirts. hahaha. He liked it and was glad I didn’t spend the crazy amount on the real deal.
