My baby girl turned 10 on the 10th. No more single digits in this house. (sniff, sniff) How do they grow up so fast?
Her party was a bit delayed because we always seem to be doing something. We are really trying hard to finish up the last week of school and last two weeks of soccer. So life has been crazy the last few months.
Here she is on her actual birthday. She requested mickey mouse chocolate chip pancakes for her birthday breakfast and macaroni and cheese for supper. We put a candle in the mac n cheese and sang happy birthday to her. She thought that was cool.
We bought her a bike for her birthday. It’s been two years since we had gotten her one. I didn’t realize just how much she had grown until I put her new one up next to her old one. yikes!!
We were finally able to have a party today. It was a bit rainy so the party had to be inside, but thankfully it stopped by the time the party rolled around, so the girls still got run around outside for a bit.
Glorianna wanted to have a princess party …again….I said no. I’m so sick of princesses. Blah! So I mentioned shopkins instead. She was thrilled. How do you give a shopkins party?? Easy. Everything shopkins involves food and household items. hahaha. YES!! Score one for creativity!! I just printed of a few labels from the internet, made cookies, cupcakes and got a few other snacky food and boom, done. I also bought some glass plates at the dollar tree for a buck each, some permanent markers and the girls got to decorate some plates. Bake them in the oven for 20-30 mins on 350* and there you have it. I saw this online as well and it seemed to work great. Its also much much cheaper than going to a pottery place.
Over all it was a great time for the girls. They had a lot of fun.
Now on to Azariah’s party….
