February Happenings

To start thing off in February, I helped at a babyshower for my cousin’s daughter. Two sweet little twin boys are on the way.

Lots of birthday stuff this month!
Happy Birthday to Camille!! Her birthday is 2 days before mine. Zion and Glorianna met her in Indy to celebrate her birthday and then spent the weekend with her.

My cousin, Jamie, took Rebekah and I our for our birthdays (Rebekah and I are 9 days apart for those of you who haven’t been around long enough to know that or may have forgotten). We went out to eat and really enjoyed just hanging out together. (I forgot to take a picture of the three of us)

My dad took me out for a birthday lunch. That’s always nice. I’m still a daddy’s girl, even tho I’m 45. =)

For my birthday from my family, I requested an “unplugged” family game night. So after some really good food, we spend the evening playing games and hanging out. They all pitched in and got me a “shopping spree” as well, so Glorianna took me out on Saturday to have some fun. It was an amazing birthday. Glorainna made me this mini peanut butter cake (and some cupcakes) with chocolate frosting. It was really good!

And one evening the following week, Trevor and I went out with Nathan and Rebekah for our traditional double birthday date. We went to Carabbas, Books-a-million and Starbucks.

At the end of the month, Trevor and I took our kids, as well as several youth from church, to Ohio for TWT’s yearly youth weekend. The kids loved dressing up fancy for the banquet, and loved hanging out with new and old friends.

Everyone looked so nice!

Sunday morning, we took the kids to church….Zion, Glorianna and Camille sang a special…

…then after some lunch and some fellowship, we headed back home. Trevor and I had the church van full of kids, and Zion drove our expedition with the rest of the kids.

My friend Maria and I.

It was a whirlwind weekend, but the kids had a blast and memories were made.
