Family Fun

On Saturday, we had a Family Day.  We headed to Kentucky, to a park that was recommended by a coworker of Trevor’s.  Bernheim Forest was quite the park.  It was very well kept, and has a lot of hiking trails and lots of educational things for the kids to see and do.  We did not make it thru the entire park, so we will definitely be going back, this fall. 

While we were there, we had a very nice picnic, did a little “Geocaching”, went on an “I Spy” hike, let the kids play on the “Children’s Garden” play area, and visited the “Educational Center”.

This tree was huge and very cool.  Glorianna said it had a “big belly”. 

A bug.  I think this is a “Walking Stick” .
