Date Night

Sometimes you just need a nice date night. Sometimes you really can’t afford to hire a babysitter and go out. Sometimes you just have to do what you can.

I fed the kids early and sent them downstairs to watch a movie just as Trevor was getting home. I had set up a small table for two on the back porch, and when Trevor arrived home, it was time for our “date.” It was quite lovely. I made shrimp alfredo, and homemade yeast rolls. It was delicious. For dessert?? Cheesecake and raspberry sauce. Yum!! It was so nice to just sit and talk while we ate, with no kids to interrupt.
