It was time for our yearly trip to Elizabethtown, Ky. to see the lights in the park and eat Thai Food. This would be our third year going and it was always a lot of fun. Usually it was just Trevor and I, but this year Azariah and Glorianna came along. So the Saturday before Christmas, we packed up and headed down the road.
We really enjoyed playing games in the car, chatting, eating good food, visiting the bookstore and taking a drive through the park. Zion and Camille could not join us because they already had plans, but it was still a good time.
That Sunday was our Christmas service and it was really good. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
Monday evening, Trevor and I took another drive into Louisville to look at some more lights. He had found a map link where someone had put together addresses of the best houses in the area. It would take a few hours to look at all of them, which we didn’t really want to do, so we just drove around until we were tired and ready to go home. The kids didn’t want to come along this time so it was just the two of us.
These people went all out. Everything was timed to music. It was really cool.
