Last week the kids went to a Christmas party at a friends house. They really enjoyed themselves.
The same day, Trevor had his work Christmas Lunch, so I got to accompany him to that. There was some amazing food. Sooooo good. I wish I could’ve brought some home. There was a photo booth there so we took some silly picures.
Last night we went back to IUS. 5 years ago, they hosted a traveling Drama group and they returned this year with the same play. It was a Radio Theather version of “It’s a Wonderful Life”. It was so much fun. So hilarious. When we found out it was going to be played at IUS again this year, we invited some friends along to join us. We knew they’d enjoy it and we were absolulty right. We got to meet the cast after the show and the kids had their picture taken with them. The 4 actors who play all the voices and parts are very talented and did such an amazing job.
We try to watch a few different Christmas movies every year too but so far this year all we’ve seen is “The Nativity”, which is probably our favorite version of the Christmas Story. I guess if you count “It’s a Wonderful Life” play, then we’ve see two so far. Hopefully we can get in a few more before Chirstmas, but we’ll see how it goes.
The boys are going skiing with some friends this weekend. It’s not really Christmasy, but it’s very wintery so it counts, right?
