Another birthday has come and gone. Funny…I don’t feel any older at 38 than I did at 37…but then again….
We didn’t do anything special for my birthday, unless you count going to South Carolina and listening to Trevor preach.
We hadn’t planned on this trip. It was a last minute thing. Bro Luke had told Trevor he’d like to have him out sometime in February, but we expected it more towards the end of the month. When Bro Luke finally got in touch with Trevor (on Tuesday) he told him either this weekend or next. Well we already had plans to be out of town next weekend which means that we go this weekend. So on Saturday morning, after the boys signed up for camp (they both got in!! Yeah! Excitement!!) we packed up the van and headed down south. Sunday Trevor preached the morning and evening services. We went out to lunch with some of the believers and headed back to the hotel for a little rest before heading back to church. We packed up Monday morning and headed back home. It was a very fast trip. It wasn’t exactly the best way to spend my birthday but at least I spent it in church listening to one of my favorite preachers. LOL
