Belgium – Part Three

Day Seven – Monday, January 6th. It was nice to sleep in and take our time checking out of the hotel this morning.

Bro David, Bro John, Trevor and I then headed to Bruges, Belgium to do some sight seeing. What a beautiful city.

One of the old churches (which really looked more like a museum than a church), had a sculpture that Michelangelo had made, of Mary and Jesus. This was really cool to see.

There is a brother that we met at the camp, who owns a Sandwich shop in Bruges. So we went there for a late lunch (he closes at 2) where we enjoyed some really great sandwiches and some fellowship at his house afterwards. (His house is behind the shop so this was very convenient.

There is a family in Bro David’s church that has a guest house that we would be staying in for the next couple of days. So that what where we headed next. It was really nice and we loved having an area to rest if we needed it.

After supper, Bro David took Bro John to the airport for his departure and Trevor and I went to our rooms to rest for the evening.
