Azariah finally got to have a birthday party. We have been so busy lately, that his party kept getting post poned. On his actual birthday, Trevor was out of town, and we had 3 soccer games. So after soccer, I took Azariah birthday shopping, let him pick out a toy, and then we went out to eat at Ruby Tuesday. The waitress there was super nice. She found out that Glorianna and Azariah both had birthdays that week, and she gave them both cupcakes, free of charge. She kept bringing us food, and stopping to talk to the kids. The kids were very well behaved and had a grand old time.
So now, 2 weeks later, Azariah finally got to have a few friends over and have one of my famous, “Low key” parties.
He invited 4 boys over. They were all dropped off, so it was just me and 6 boys for a few hours. But it was fun. They popped balloons, played swords, jumped on the trampoline, ate cake, icecream, chili dogs and just did boy stuff.
During the “Happy Birthday” Song, I think each boy sang their own version. It was quite funny. 6 different “happy birthday” songs going on at the same time, was awesome!! I wish I had video taped it.
Azariah had one friend stay over for the night, so the party got to last a bit longer then ususal. But they boys all were very well behaved and all had a great time. I will do thing again, I’m sure. I can handle the “low key” parties.
