Azariah’s Birthday, Memorial Day, and Our Youth Banquet

I am so far behind in my blogging. So here’s to playing catch up for the month of May.

On the 14th, my middle child turned 22. How is that possible? My adult children are getting older way to fast. He chose not to have a party this year. So instead, he took a few friends and they went out to eat at the “Game” restaurant, then went and played Frisbee Golf. It felt odd to not really have a celebration, but that was what he wanted and he had a lot of fun. This being said, I don’t have any pictures of his special day. But happy birthday Azariah!! We love you and are so proud of the young man you are becoming. You’ve got the makings of a great leader.

We also had another youth led service at church. Glorianna sang a song she wrote and Azariah gave his testimony. It was so good. I’m so proud of all of these kids.

Memorial Day we had Zion and Camille, The P. Family, plus my parents, over for a cookout. I didn’t get a single picture of us ladies. Sigh. Oh well. We had a great day of fellowship and enjoyed some great food.

And finally, to bring the month of May to a close, our church hosted a youth weekend. We had some amazing services, fun times at the gym, and lots of fun at the youth banquet.

We even played a game where we blindfolded Bro Nathan and Trevor to see if they could guess the name of the person speaking. It was so funny. Bro Nathan won that one.
