In August, Trevor, Glorianna and I traveled to Michigan. Trevor was asked to preach at at a family camp, so off we went. The boys couldn’t get off work (they were saving time for other camps), so just Glorianna came along. We had never been to this camp before and really didn’t know what to expect, but we had a nice time. It was a smaller camp and it was a little on the rustic side, but over all it was a great time. Trevor and I stayed at a hotel nearby, while Glorianna stayed in the girls dorm onsite.
Beautiful Sunset on the drive there.
Trevor led the Bible Study one of the mornings. It was chill and the kids really seemed to enjoy it.
Services were great. Trevor preached for 2 of them and there were also 2 other brothers that preached as well. All three of them had totally different styles, but it was amazing to see how God tied all of the sermons together and they flowed so well.
One of the families from our church also went to this camp so it was really nice to see someone we knew. So enjoy some pictures from the youth….and a few of mine. haha
The ministering brothers with the pastor of the church there.
Beautiful sunset that evening.
This was pretty much the whole camp (minus the parents) I told you it was small.
Glorianna got to play some airsoft while she was there.
More pics…
Serious chess match going on here…
We got home late Sunday night. Monday was Trevor and I’s 24th anniversary. We were so tired that we really didn’t want to go out that night. So we posted our celebration until Tuesday. We went out to eat and had a nice walk on the walking bridge. Nothing really fancy, but we had a good time talking about the past years. Looking forward to many, many more.
