August

In the month of August, Trevor and I celebrated our 23rd Anniversary. We enjoyed eating out at Mitchel’s Fish Market and just spending the day together. We’d never been to Mitchel’s before and we really enjoyed it. They have really good food and because we went around 2 on a Saturday, we beat the rush and there was no waiting. We each got an appetizer and then split a meal. This was perfect because the portions were huge!

The following weekend, we headed to North Carolina. Trevor was asked to preach at Bro Barry C.’s church so off we went. Glorianna wasn’t able to come because she had a couple of soccer games that weekend, so she stayed home with a friend. But Amelia V wanted to come because she has friends in that area, and Camille A. also wanted to come. So we had a nice packed car and a lot of fun road tripping. It was a great time of fellowship. We met lots of new people and had some great services.

And the weekend after that…(it was a very busy month), Trevor and I flew to Florida with two other couples for a weekend of meetings there. Fun times. Good food. Great fellowship and amazing services.

And that brings us to the last weekend of August/beginning of September. Our church had it’s yearly Labor Day meetings. Bro Jack D. and Bro Samuel B. preached for us and we had a wonderful time. Services were awesome. Fellowship was great and there were many lives changed. I’m looking forward to what the remainder of the year hold for us.
