Anthony’s 40th birthday party

A friend of ours celebrated his 40th birthday yesterday, with a costume party.  Strange as it may sound for a 40 year old, it was truely a lot of fun.  There was great food and great fellowship, followed by a game of Jepardy, Anthony Edition.  Laughs were had by all. 

Since this was a costume/birthday party, we decided to all go as “The Princess Bride” Charactors.  If you’ve seen the movie, you’ll get this…if you don’t, you’ll just have a good laugh.  I got started on the costumes as soon as we decided what we wanted to go as.  I think I worked my sewing machine overtime, but I finished everything just in time. 

Prince Humperdink–“I always think everything a trap.  Which is why I’m still alive.”

The Princess Buttercup- “The most beautiful girl in all the land.”

The Spaniard–“Hello…My name is Inago Montoia.  You killed my father.  Prepare to die.”
