Anniversary Trip — Part One

This weekend, Trevor and I took a delayed Anniversary Trip, to Gatlinburg, TN. We were there Friday – Sunday. This was an exciting time for us. This is the first trip we have taken, without the kids. It was really nice to get away. Note to self…Next time take a fan. =) I am used to sleeping with a fan. There wasn’t one at the cabin. There was an over head fan, but not a box fan, which is what I am used to. Needless to say, it was very quiet at night, there, which made it hard to fall asleep. So I really have to remember to pack the box fan, the next time we go on vacation.

The cabin we stayed in was very nice. It was very cozy and very well stocked. We didn’t get to test out the fireplace, since it’s summer, but if we were to ever go during the winter, the fireplace would be wonderful, I’m sure. There was a grill on the back deck, which, had we known about it, we would have used this as well. Here’s a few pics of our cabin, for your viewing pleasure.

Here we are in front of our cabin.

This sign was hanging above the stairs. I thought it was very nice.

it wasn't actually all that big Jo. =) It only had 1 bedroom. but both of the couches turned into beds so the entire family really could have stayed there with no trouble at all.
