A Very Happy Day!

We’ve been friends with Marie R and her family for a long time. I don’t remember exactly when we met them. But they have been our “South Carolina Home” whenever we travel that direction. My kids have gotten so used to Marie’s cooking that I had to master some of her recipes. =) Anyway….we’ve been praying for Marie to meet a nice Christian man for a long time. She’s so sweet and deserves a good Godly husband. Well it finally happened. And this past weekend we made our way to SC to help celebrate the happy occasion.

Marie was totally smitten. It was so funny to watch her. Her eyes never left Jack’s face, the entire ceremony. She was positively glowing.

Marie made her dress. She did an amazing job. I wish I had a better picture of it. It turned out so good.

With the wedding being on a Saturday, we stayed over for the Sunday service. It was worth it. Bro Luke preached an amazing sermon on Sunday morning that really touched me. Then Trevor spoke on Sunday night, on “Wilt Thou Be Made Whole?” It was very good and the Lord was present once again.

We packed up on Monday morning and headed back home after breakfast. Thanks Ben and Sharon for letting us stay with you that weekend!!
