Today our homeschool group took a fieldtrip to the Popcorn Station. We got to see the types of kernals they have and the many different flavors they make. It was a really awesome fieldtrip.
The flavors:
Tasting the samples.
Watching the lady make chocolate caramel popcorn.
Seeing the machines that make the popcorn.
Making caramel corn balls.
The two types of kernels they use. Mushroom and Butterfly.
Our group was so large that they divided us up into two groups for the tour. We were in group two.
The kids got to take home a bag of caramel corn and a flavored popcorn of their choice. Zion chose cinnamon roll, Azariah chose peanut butter cup and Glorianna chose strawberry cream.
I bought a small bag of chocolate caramel. It was very good.
This was a great way to bring in the new school year. We officially start next week.
