The Start of Summer Break

We got our pool open after coming home from PA and this cute little ducky decided to test out the waters for us. I was quite surprised to look out the window and see a duck swimming away in our pool. Thankfully she didn’t stay there long and the kids have been able to enjoy the pool themselves.

These are short clips of the boys jumping in the pool.

We also had our Homeschool “End of the Year Bash” as we like to call it. We did awards this year, which we haven’t done in a few years, had pizza, did relay races, played games, had free gym time and the kids had a blast. Of course I didn’t get any pictures. Why?? Because I was helping with relay races and the handing out of awards. Oh well. I’m hoping for some pictures from some of the other parents tho.

So this being said, here’s my kiddos with their awards. (belated pictures but better than nothing)

Strawberry pickin’!!
It was a little chilly that day but it was the perfect weather to pick strawberries in.

This was the first time we’ve been able to do this. I took the kids blueberry picking last year but this was our fist time strawberry picking. It was a lot of fun and I now have 8 gallons of strawberries in my freezer. If we don’t stop eating them, tho, I never will get my jam made. HAHA
