A little late in coming, but better late then never…
Since Zion’s birthday fell on Wednesday this year, and his party wasn’t going to be until a few days later, I wanted to do something special for him. So i took the kids to the Zoo, and let them go thru the new Dino walk. They loved it.
Here they are looking at one of the huge dinos.

Later, in a different part of the zoo, a lady was talking to kids about Elephant tusks and the importance of keeping elephants safe. Instead of killing the elephants for the tusks, to make things out of, they can now use a certain kind of nut that looks almost identical to ivory, when its opened up. Now a lot of people use these nuts instead of the elephants tusks.
“ahh…this mist feels soo good!”

Over all, Zion said he had a wonderful birthday. Happy birthday to my big 9 year old!
