Glorianna

Glorianna has finally figured out the proper way to use the scissors. So now instead of just cutting a piece of paper into thousands of tiny little pieces, she actually cuts things out now. She has also really been into “card making” lately. So that combined with her new found knowledge of scissors and glue, she has been a card making nut.

Here she is cutting out a heart.

This is the card she made for Grandma. (Sorry mom if you read this …i still have your card. I keep forgetting to give it to you. ) It says “I love you” on the bottom.

She thought it was pretty cool to make a smiley face with the glue before sticking it on the paper.

This is the card she made for her doggy. She is telling me that the card says “I love you!!!”

She made this for daddy. She got off of the heart kick for a few days (which she was on for quite a while…everything had to have hearts on it) and just started cutting out different shapes.

She has made cards for grandma, grandpa, mommy, daddy, her doggie, her cousins, her friends and she’s not done yet. I don’t always remember to give the cards to the people they are supposed to go to. I’m starting to get quite a stack. I suppose I do need to give them away or else they will end up in the garbage and Glorianna will be heartbroken.
Today’s theme was seahorses. I don’t know what brought that on, but when she asked me to draw her a seahorse, i got smart and just printed off a few from the computer. She’s such a joy and a wonder. I look forward to what each day holds. Her imagination is incredible and she always finds a way to bring a smile to my face.
