On May 10, my baby turned 20. Yikes! Where has the time gone?
May was going to be such a busy month with birthdays and graduations, that it was hard to figure out time to do everything.
Her birthday fell on mother’s day this year, so that was fun to figure out what we were going to do.
She had to work that Friday, so a couple lovely sisters showed up at her work to surprise her. It really made her day.
Glorianna had wanted a girly party with some of her besties, but everyone’s schedules just didn’t want to cooperate. That was going to have to be postponed. So we finally ended up doing a family hangout on Saturday, May 9.. Trevor used ChatGPT to help him write a murder mystery and we all dressed up and had a great time using clues and improv to figure out who done it.
Overall she had a good birthday and it was a lot of fun. I think we will try to create more of these mystery dramas in the future.
For her girly party at the end of the month, she had some girls over and they all dressed up in fancy dresses, played games and laughed a lot. I let her have the basement and she decorated it all fancy. It turned out so pretty.
Glorianna made this dress. She wanted to have a Rapunzel dress, but they are expansive to buy and fabric isn’t much cheaper. So she found a couple of dresses at the thrift store, took them apart and recreated her own dress. I think she did an excellent job!
