Soccer Part One — Zion’s Team

It’s soccer season once again. I tried to get some pictures this time and I think I went a bit overboard. So the next few posts will be all on soccer, one team at a time.

Trevor coached Zion’s team this year. It is a really good team. There are a few kids from church on this team, so games and practices are always fun. We have several wins already and the kids are really learning a lot.

Here is Zion playing goalie. He was bored this game. We didn’t really let the other team get near our goal much, so Zion’s job was pretty easy this game.

Christian waits patiently for the ball to come his way…he was playing defense this game.

I love this picture. Christian looks like he’s about to punch out the girl on the other team…ha ha …but he wasn’t…honest.

Ok…Watch these next few pictures. Watch out for the reeeeaaaaly tall girl…

Yes, thats a girl…she’s crazy tall. She’s only a month older then Zion. Zion tried really hard to make that goal but she was just a little faster.

This next series of pictures is awesome. Christian got fouled and got to take a goal shot. We were a bit worried because of the tallness of the other team, but Christian made a beautiful shot and it went up and over their heads and into the goal. Good job Christian!!

We really enjoyed this game. It was a lot of fun. And we won!! Woo hoo!
