Homeschool Christmas Program

Our homeschool Christmas program was last night. The kids did very well. All of them. The choir, the songs, the instrumentals, the skits…..it was all very well done. I didn’t get any pictures of my kids doing their skit, because I was on stage helping with props. But hopefully someone else did. I need to ask around. Otherwise, I’ll try to have the kids “redo” their skit at home and take pictures then. But someway I will get some pictures. They did a skit called “The Unwrapping of Gifts”. The kids were modern day kids, trying to figure out what the greatest gift was. They would then think of an idea, go back in time to Bible days, act out a scene and return to the present time. They did Hannah (the gift of a child), Solomon (the gift of wisdom) and the thief on the cross (the gift of salvation). They ended with realizing that you need “Revelation” to understand what the greatest gift is.

Here’s some of the pictures I did get. Unfortunately I can’t upload video to the blog, but Trevor may have some on Facebook, for those of you who follow him there.

We ended the program with the YF Choir singing a few songs. They did awesome, as always. Our homeschool choir was allowed to join the YF choir this year, for 2 songs. They were so excited and they did a great job! We are very grateful for the opportunity to be allowed to sing with the YF choir. It was truly a blessing, to the adults as well as the kids.
