Well, school has started about 2 weeks later then my original planned day, but it is going well. With the involvement we had with Still Waters Camp, school got delayed one week, and then I babysat my neices so my sis in law could work at the Camp, so school got delayed another week. But Camp is officially over, and life as we know it as returned to normal. So we jumped into school full fledged this week. Glorianna already had one week behind her because she is doing Abeka DVD’s, so she is doing well. She’s finally past the “its boring” stage and seems to be enjoying it.
Azariah seems to really like school. His new curriculum is going well and he’s really taking pride in his writing. He may just end up being the best writer in the family. He really tries to be neat and has quite the imagination, which will do wonderful once he starts writing stories.
Zion is up and down. He is starting the year with “Poetry”, which he decided he didn’t like before even trying it. He had a pretty bad melt down yesterday, because he didn’t want to write a poem of his own. After getting himself grounded and sent to his room, his attitude changed for the better and he completed his schooling with no problems at all. His said poem that he was required to write, turned out wonderful. I was quite impressed. He has now decided that “some” poetry is ok.

Watching the “girlyness” of Glorianna cracks me up. Zion decided he would give her his stuffed lizard, since he doesn’t really need it and never plays with it. She was quite happy about it and ran off to her room to play. She comes back out a few minutes later with hair bows stuck on her new lizard. “Look!! It’s a girl!!” ha ha Zion proceeds to groan and insist that it can’t wear hairbows becuase it’s a boy. I couldn’t help but laugh. Zion is now regretting giving her his lizard.

Trevor has preached and traveled a lot this year. Sometimes we all get to go and sometimes we don’t. Outside of his preaching ministry, it seems that the Lord has been using him in other ways as well. Lately, he has been called upon by others for “minister like” purposes other then preaching. It’s been good for him and it just amazes me to watch God work in his life. He just wrote something on his minister blog that I thought was awesome, so I just have to share it.
