Well, another of my children reached a new milestone. Azariah turned 21 this month. I’m starting to feel old. It was bad enough that my baby turned 18. By now my middle child is 21. Where’s my cane?
Azariah wanted to go to Nashville and do an escape room for his birthday instead of having a party. We all love escape rooms and this would be our 20th one. So far we’ve always escaped. So Azariah invited his long time friend, Ben, to come along and we headed to Nashville one Saturday morning.
(The day of his birthday we gave him a couple of gifts and played some games) He’s been wanting a box drum for a while, so he was happy to get this one.
More games to add to the collection.
And we had Chicken and Waffles for supper.
Off to Nashville…
Before going to the escape room, we stopped at the Aquarium Restaurant to eat. The last time we tried to eat here it was a 2 hour wait, so this time we made sure we got reservations. It was so cool!!
After some good food (not the best seafood I’ve had, but still really good) we headed to the escape room.
We escaped with time to spare! Wins – 20, Loses – 0
It was a great day. We ended it with some ice cream in downtown Nashville and then headed back home.
