November

We never seem to slow down. We are always busy doing something. But life is good and the Lord has blessed us, so I’m not complaining. Here’s how November went…

Outside our our normal, every day stuff….

I finally got a dishwasher. I’d been saving up for one for a couple of years, and Home Depot had their black Friday sales at the beginning of the month. So with the sale and what we had already saved up, we were able to get a nice one and it looks so good in my kitchen.

The kids attended a Friendsgiving and had a lot of fun. I don’t have any pictures of that tho.

We got a new sectional for the basement. Found this on facebook marketplace at an amazing price and the boys even pitched in. It had a recliner on one side, and a pull out bed on the other. This will be great for company and also overnight guests.

Thanksgiving was at my house this year. My parents came, as well as Samuel and his wife. It was a lot of fun and we had a ton of amazing food. The only pictures I took were the ones of the desserts that Glorianna made. A pumpkin bunt cake and a pumpkin cheesecake. I’m so bad at taking pictures lately.

I decorated for Christmas and the house looks all festive, but yet it’s fairly simple.

Glorianna painted me the wisemen last year and I told her I needed the rest of the set. So this year she painted Mary, Joseph and the Baby. I love them. Hoping to still get the painting of the animals to complete the set. We’ll see how long it takes her to do that one.

Zion got a new car. It’s a 2009 Audi. He’s planning on renting it out each month to make a little money on the side, but he doesn’t have it listed yet. It’ll probably be after Christmas.

We’ve already had some signs of winter. The weather has dropped and we’ve had a few snow days.

Glorianna is doing well in Prosser and she’s loving it. They’ve learned a lot about cooking as well as the proper way to cut up chicken, turkey and even a deer.

She’s also been helping serve food in the kitchen, to some of the staff and students. She’s been learning a lot and can’t wait until it’s time for her internship.

Overall it’s been a great month. Looking forward to Christmas and the fun family festivities we have planned.
