Our main reason for heading up to South Dakota, was for the wedding of Trevor’s sister, Danielle. It has been 6 years since I was there, and 3 years or so, since Trevor was there. Some of the family had never even met Glorianna.
It was nice to be able to “re-meet” the family. Trevor’s grandmothers were at the wedding, as well as some aunts and uncles that the kids had never met, so that was a treat to be able to meet some more of the family.
The wedding was “Renassance” Themed. So the family and guests (if they so chose) were to dress in some kind of “Renassance” attair for the wedding. That was a lot of fun. We don’t “dress up” very often, so the kids, expecially, loved this.
It was an outdoor wedding and the sun was shining and the weather was great. Not too hot and not too cold. The reception was at the same place, so after the ceremony we just filled up some nearby tables for the wonder food catered by Qudoba. Yummy!
