We got our biggest snow at the end of January. The kids had fun sledding with friends and playing in the yard. Glorianna made Phibby a house out of a big cardboard box. He loved it until it caved in from all the snow.
We had a good mix of snow and ice. We had to cancel a couple of church services because of the ice.

February was my Birthday month. A sweet sister from church has a room in her house set up as a tea room. She had Glorianna and I over for a “tea party” for my birthday. It was a good time.
We had been saving up for a new stove/microwave combo for the last couple of years. Finally we were able to get one and it was delivered the day after my birthday! Happy birthday to me!!
The stove was put in right away, but we had to custom order new upper cabinets before I could put in the microwave. That took about 4 weeks, then we had to paint them and get a time slot for them to be installed. That took another couple of weeks. Long story short, I got my microwave in yesterday (about 6 weeks after my stove) and I love them both! Everything looks great!
We got more snow in February, but thankfully it didn’t stick around long.
Glorianna decided to take the ice cycles off of the gutters and turn them upside down to make a “porch defense”. It was pretty intimidating to see from the outside, coming up the steps.
At the end of February, Glorianna decided she wanted to have some friends over and have her own fancy tea party. We borrowed some decorations from a friend, made some simple food/snacks and reserved the kitchen area for a few hours of fun one Saturday.
In March my Sunday School class sang a special in church. This was my first time doing this and it was a lot of fun. The kids did really well. I was very proud of them.
The following weekend in March, we took a trip to Georgia. Trevor was going to preach at one of the churches in Gillsville, GA and we have some good friends there as well, so we made a family trip out of it. Glorianna stayed with her good friends, Zoe and Kaylee, the boys stayed with their friend Josiah, and Trevor and I stayed with another family. We had a great time of fellowship. We spent the day Saturday at one of the local tourist areas and then hiked up to a beautiful waterfall.

We had good services on Sunday and heard a great testimony of a young sister who received the Holy Ghost on Sunday night. It made the entire trip worth going. We are praising the Lord for His goodness.
