This past weekend Trevor and I, along with 3 other chaperones, took 25 of our church youth up to Bluffton, Ohio for a youth banquet. We had two 15 passenger vans packed full. It was fun tho and the kids really enjoyed themselves and got to meet some other believers their age.
We met in the church parking lot at 7 am on Saturday morning (Feb. 15), packed everyone up and headed down the road. There was much singing, laughing and just having a good old time along the 4.5 hour road trip. Trevor, Myself and Cortnea V. were in one van with 12 kids and Daniel and Ashley C. were in the other van with 13 kids.
There was volleyball and games at the gym on Saturday afternoon, followed by a formal banquet, amazing food and a really good youth service.
Sunday morning we had a nice breakfast, enjoyed a wonderful church service, had some lunch and headed back to Indiana. We arrived back at church around 8 and slipped into the basement until the service concluded.
Overall it was a fun weekend and the kids all really enjoyed themselves.
