A few pictures from Christmas.
Glorianna, Ava and Ella had a mini Christmas at grandma’s house with baking and a present exchange.
Glorianna hosted a Christmas party at our house with a few of her friends. That was a lot of fun.
Glorianna did some baking. She’s becoming quite good in the kitchen.
Trevor got his first deer of the season. WOO!!
We spent Christmas Eve with my parents. Good food and fun times playing games.
I had this pillow made for my mom and this keychain made for my dad.
Beautiful sunset on Christmas Eve.
Christmas Morning I passed on the cinnamon roll tradition to Glorianna. She did very well. They were delicious.
We had really good family devotions before opening presents. Each one of us located a scripture in the old testament that had to do with the birth of Christ. We all ended up with different ones and it ended up turning into a really good discussion. I’m so proud of my family. The children really love the Lord and really enjoy a good Bible discussion.
We then opened presents.
Zion got the monitor he had been wanting. He also agreed to pay half if we got it for him. Haha
This was awesome. Zion had been asking for new PJ pants for a while now and I kept putting it off. He didn’t know I had already bought them and decided that that would be one of his presents. His reaction was classic.
Glorianna still loves making things for people.
I had this keychain made for Trevor. It turned out much bigger than I thought it would be so he’s going to use it as a backpack tag instead of a keychain. Either way it will go with him when he travels and he’ll know I’ll be at home waiting for him when he returns.
And I bought Trevor (another) Bible. This was a notetaking Bible. It has space on the sides of the text for you to take notes with. He’s been wanting this for a while so what better time to get it.
Glorianna bought the boys some star wars crafts.
Glorianna got some new boots and some baking stuff. She was really excited about the baking stuff. Had to use it right away.
I got Azariah some air drum sticks….just because. It was pretty funny to watch him play with them.
And he got a Gundam…a buildable figure that he’s been wanting.
We got the kids a few other things too but I forgot to take pictures. But these were their most requested presents, so they were pretty happy with that.
Trevor decided to be funny and bought me this sweatshirt. It was pretty funny. I had a nice laugh when I opened it.
And I got the new vacuum I’ve been wanting. WOOO!
Glorianna trying out her new baking stuff.
Her first “fancy” cake. Not bad for her first one.
A couple of days after Christmas, Trevor and Glorianna went to KY for a special youth hunt. Glorianna bagged her first deer. She was so proud.
And finally, we ended the year with a wonderful watch night service. Zion preached his first sermon. He did a really good job. I was very impressed. I’ve got some snippets on video but I can never get them up upload onto the blog. So if you have instagram you can see them there.
Overall it was a great Christmas and New Years. May God bless you all and may we all draw closer to him in this next year.
