Ok…so the month of July has been so crazy that I’m not sure I can fit it all into one post. But here goes….we will see how far I get.
Right after Zion’s birthday, Trevor and the boys headed to Indianapolis for Believers Youth Camp. Trevor was a dorm leader and had 2 days off because of the 4th of July holiday, but he had to work the rest of the week, so on those days he left camp to go to work, then drove back so he could be there for evening/night. This was Azariah’s first time and it took him a day or two to figure things out, but then he had a good time. They all came back on Thursday and that was the start of our special services at church, where Bro. Danny S. from Florida was with us. He taught Bible Study on Thursday night and preached the youth service on Friday night. Saturday we had a pot luck and fellowship. Sunday Bro. Danny preached the Sunday morning and evening services. I honestly can’t say which of the 3 services was the best. They were all amazing.
On top of this we had 4 kids stay at our house on Friday night, who were on there way home to Tennessee, from BYC and wanted to break up their trip. They went to service with us Friday and the pot luck with us on Saturday, then headed home from there. AND we had a boy from Arizona staying with us Friday, Saturday and Sunday who was heading to Still Waters on July 9th. AND we had a family of 5 from Georgia, stay with us Sunday night who also had a daughter going to Still Waters.
Monday we dropped off Azariah and the rest of the kids at Still Waters. The GA people left and it slowed down a bit for the week.
So to fill in a few details here and there…. While Trevor and the boys were at BYC, Glorianna and I had some girl time. It was a pretty quiet week with just us, but we stayed busy and really enjoyed our time together. We made bath bombs…
had fun sewing some cute animals…
went to the 4th of July parade…
played some games, did a bit of shopping and had a great time doing girl stuff. Shew….are we done yet?? So…as I said…we had the meetings and lots of company and then Azariah went to camp.
He remembered his daddy’s birthday!
Because it was a busy week and Trevor’s birthday fell on a Thursday this year, Glorianna made him a birthday sandwich and sang happy birthday to him. We may try to celebrate a bit later when things slow down a bit. So in the meantime….Happy Birthday Sweetie! Enjoy your last year in the 30’s.
And here’s Azariah’s interview. I’m so proud of my boy.

And now camp is over. We had the 5 GA people again for one night and we still have the AZ boy with us until Monday. Trevor is gone preaching out of town this weekend. AND we bought Zion a car! Yikes!! It’s a 2002 Volvo Station Wagon. It’s in pretty decent shape and we got a great deal on it. It will need a little bit of work but for the most part it will be a great starter car for Zion. He was able to pay half of it so that was helpful.
I can’t believe its that time already. He is supposed to get his license next week. And then we will officially have a third driver in the house. I feel so old.
So there you have it. The super long post about the super busy month….and it’s not even over yet. I think I need a vacation…
